Babel de sueños

Arch of Galerius in Thessaloniki, Greece

Θεσσαλονίκη, 2014

Iam at the arch of Galerius...his victories, his eye does not let see the sea...only the old streets, the time, its fragments.....

An old city, the past in the corners, bourgeois people who know of old wines, old cuisines and gentleness.

The sea has the glow of the sky... and squalls that frightened Odysseus' ships,

Heroic voyages, crossroads of roads and languages, babel of dreams.

Thessaloniki, the sea pierces the bay in wide curve.

Olympus can be seen far away in the mist... it is the time of September when the sun is in defeat... the time of exile...
